Market Hall Bakery Housemade Biscotti

Our own bakery in Oakland, California, has been making these biscotti since we opened in 1987. The original recipe is based on Umbrian quaresimali, a biscotti-like cookie traditionally enjoyed during Lent. Crunchier than your typical biscotti, these cookies are ideal for dunking into a cup of another local favorite, Highwire Coffee.

Available in two flavors—original and chocolate—both are made with a combination of almonds and hazelnuts, plus a double-dose of ground cinnamon and cinnamon oil. Just like the old days, our biscotti are made entirely by hand from start to finish, achieving a crisp and crumbly texture. Chocolate lovers, our Chocolate Biscotti get a half coat of Guittard chocolate for an extra special touch.
